Greg Kellogg

At the age of 7 I was introduced to the world of Broadway Musicals, my parents being Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall season ticket holders I was blessed to see Maestro Leonard Bernstein at Carnage Hall many times.

I saw on Broadway classic works such as "The original Sound of Music", "Music man" and "The King and I", being among my favorites. Maestro Bernstein, The Beatles, Poco, Little Feat, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Carl Stalling just to name a few major influences for me.

By age 12 I was playing many different instruments. (Instruments Played:

 Fretless Bass, Harmonica,
 Piano,
Keyboards,
 Mandolin,
 Pedal Steel Guitar,

 Dobro)

 

By 14 I was teaching guitar at Hampton Conservatory in New Jersey. By 17 I left home and traveled the USA with many different kinds of bands finally settling in California I became a Songwriter for the CCM marketing while at the same time creating music for EMI, BMG, Universal Pictures, Disney, Word, Paramount Pictures, Fox, E channel, Dreamworks and creating music for shows like Biography, Modern Marvels, Forensic Files and Planets Funniest Animals.

Today with credits for over a 100 TV episodes and creating for Feature Films Greg continues to compose and produce music projects in all genres. Greg is also an accomplished inventor holder of 2 patents: including the award winning "Guitar Kickstand" guitarkickstand.com.
